1. Entering into the agreement
By creating an account or using Showbank after being clearly informed of and given access to these terms, you agree to them. For paid subscriptions, the payment terms shown before purchase also form part of the agreement.
If you use Showbank on behalf of a band, company, association or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. What Showbank is
Showbank is a digital service for planning, storing and playing material and show data related to live performances. Features may include projects, songs, audio files, stems, timelines, lighting/show data, stage setups, synchronization and playback through Showbank Player.
Uploaded material is not intended to be published to the general public through Showbank.
3. Account and security
- Keep account information accurate and up to date.
- You are responsible for protecting sign-in credentials and connected devices.
- Do not bypass access controls, subscription limits or other technical restrictions.
- Report suspected misuse or unauthorized access as soon as reasonably possible.
4. Software licence
While the agreement remains in force, you receive a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use Showbank in accordance with your subscription and these terms.
You do not acquire ownership of the software, source code, design, trademarks or other intellectual property belonging to Showbank.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of your own material. Showbank does not take ownership of audio files, recordings, images, text, project data, stage setups or other material you add.
You grant Showbank only the limited, non-exclusive and royalty-free rights needed to store, copy, back up, convert, analyze, process, transmit and play the material to provide the functions you request.
6. Responsibility for material and rights
You are responsible for material you upload, import, connect to or use through Showbank and for how that material is actually used at rehearsals, concerts, events, streams or elsewhere.
You confirm that you have the rights, licences, consents or other permissions necessary for your use. This may include master recordings, musical works, lyrics, images, logos, video, samples and backing tracks.
Showbank does not clear or verify rights in user material and gives no guarantee that a particular use is lawful.
7. Illegal or infringing material
You must not use Showbank for unlawful material or activity that infringes third-party rights.
Showbank has no general obligation to monitor user content. If we receive concrete and credible information that material is unlawful or infringing, we may temporarily block, restrict or remove the relevant material or account while the matter is assessed.
Rights holders may contact [email protected] with enough information to identify the material and the basis of the claim.
8. Third-party claims
You are responsible for claims caused by your use of Showbank in breach of these terms or without necessary rights.
For business customers, to the extent permitted by mandatory law, the user shall indemnify Showbank for documented third-party claims and reasonable costs directly caused by such use. This does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by acts for which Showbank itself is responsible.
Consumers retain all mandatory consumer rights.
9. Live use, operation and backup
Showbank is a tool for live production. Internet access, local hardware, browsers, audio equipment, lighting equipment and third-party services can fail.
You are responsible for a suitable setup and the backup required for the relevant performance.
We work for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Subscriptions and payment
Showbank Pro costs NOK 129 per project per month, including VAT when paying in Norwegian kroner. A subscription covers one project and is shared by that project's members. Other projects require separate subscriptions. Free projects can contain up to five songs.
Purchases use Stripe Managed Payments. Link is the merchant of record for subscriptions sold through this payment service and handles payments, applicable taxes, receipts and invoices. The specific seller and sale terms are identified at checkout and on the receipt. Showbank provides the software service and support for using it.
The subscription renews monthly until cancelled. The project owner can open Manage billing from the subscription page in Showbank and cancel there. Cancellation stops the next renewal; paid access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Cancellation does not itself request a refund. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.
When paid access and any payment-failure grace period end, the free limit applies again. Projects above five songs can still edit existing songs, but cannot add songs, sync or obtain new exports until access is restored or the project is reduced to five songs. Previously downloaded content remains playable locally in Player.

Refund requests are assessed under applicable rights and the terms of the purchase. Do not send complete card details.
The email supplied for payment can differ from your Showbank sign-in email. Changing the billing email does not change the Showbank account or project membership. Showbank does not store complete payment-card details.
11. Right of withdrawal
Consumers purchasing online have a right of withdrawal to the extent provided by applicable Norwegian law. Information and any required withdrawal form will be provided with the purchase and agreement confirmation.
12. Changes to the service
Showbank is actively developed. We may change, add or remove functionality for legitimate reasons such as security, technical changes, compatibility or product development.
Changes to ongoing digital services supplied to consumers will comply with mandatory consumer law.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict an account when necessary for security, non-payment, serious or repeated breach, unlawful use or protection of others.
After termination you may lose access to content and projects. Personal data and accounting information are handled according to the Privacy Policy and statutory retention requirements.
14. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
For business customers, to the extent permitted by law, Showbank is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, lost assignments or losses that could reasonably have been prevented by backup. Showbank’s aggregate liability to a business customer is limited to amounts paid for Showbank during the twelve months preceding the event, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
15. Privacy
Personal-data processing is explained in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy provides information about processing; it is not a blanket consent term.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when necessary because of legal changes, security, new functionality or other legitimate reasons. Material changes will be communicated appropriately when required by law.
17. Governing law and disputes
The agreement is governed by Norwegian law. Disputes should first be addressed by contacting Showbank. Consumers retain mandatory venue and complaint rights. Business customers agree, to the extent permitted by law, to Sogn og Fjordane District Court as agreed venue.
